Why candles and why us? Well here’s our story, grab a cuppa and light a candle ha! Ok seriously, after giving birth to my now 4 year old daughter I was on the hunt for a brand new challenge. Before taking my maternity leave I was working as Head of Operations for a Youth & Community Charity. I loved my job but my priorities had changed, well my whole life had changed because I was a mum now!
Fast forward 18 months later, a friend of mine came over with a beautiful little hamper of housewarming gifts. Inside it was a little votive candle which when lit, filled my place with the most sensual aroma and resembled that of a shisha lounge and I mean the sophisticated and elegant type. It was in that moment I literally had my lightbulb moment and decided to recreate that same intensity of aroma but in a clean burning candle and one that would burn right the way down and not leave behind a whole jar of wasted wax, (not mentioning any names but if you know you know). 

So, fast forward another 12 months later and we launched Jasmine’s Candle Co. We are a small family run business based in the heart of London. Every one of our candles is lovingly hand-poured by us. We use a special vegan friendly blend of rapeseed oil wax mixed with a small amount of mineral oil wax, to ensure a clean burn, an excellent hot throw and minimal waste so you get the most out of your candle. All of our fragrance oils are free from additives and parabens and our wax melts are made with rapeseed oil and coconut oil, making them soy free, palm free and 100% vegan friendly!
